I remember you offering the plans for the submarine online do you still do that and what would be your cost for this? The sub you build is just mind blowing…

    Hi John (From email)

Only last week did I discover your blogs on scratchbuilding and I have to say they are fabulous.

I emailed you just a few days back regarding the little wheel you use for creating rivets and in fairness you replied ever so promptly. So a big Thank you for that.

What’s caused me to email you again is that I have just watched another one of your videos and you mention that you are very unwell.

There is nothing mor important than our health and without it we are stuffed! It’s something that gets you down and this is why I’m emailing you.

If or when you have a low spot, please think of the pleasure you have given to thousands with your blogs. I love your presentation and obvious enthusiasm as that alone has prompted me to get back into scratch building model boats again.

We live near Penzance ,Cornwall, Uk. I don’t know if you have ever been there but it’s a beautiful part of the country and world with so many boats and scenery around us.

Anyway, sorry to harp on, but I just wanted to wish you well, to encourage you to keep up the fight and to continue inspiring the thousands of model ship builders with your blogs.

You deserve so much credit and I hope my email will give you a lift one day when you aren’t feeling your best.

I would love to know how you are or what you’re currently working on or anything else for that matter. So please regard me as one of your very keen followers.

    Regards

    Mark

    Hi John (Added from email)

I just wanted to say thank you for your most recent news letter.

    It was brilliant .

I also mentioned last week how much you’ve inspired me to get back into scratch building model boats. As part of that, this week I have sorted out my modelling room which has become a dump zone! It’s all ready to go and that’s down to your inspiration!

Next year I’m retiring after 30 years as s Police Officer, and can’t wait to have the time to do my scratch building!

After emailing you last week I haven’t stopped thinking of you and I just wanted to wish you all the best despite me living over here in Cornwall, UK.

Hope the chemo is not interfering to much with your work.

    Huge regards

    Mark

You website is absolutely the best, I was so happy to come across your website,

You answer my all questions about subs, that have been in the back of my mind for years.
I wish you well in your recovery, get well soon,
Just one little problem, I cannot logon to your website, I have tried several computers as well as my own, the same issue appears on all
I can send you a screen shot of login if necessary

      Hi Mike

Sorry about that but I start with simple ideas but as I scratch built I have too much time to think and before long I have arduino, sweet spots, compasses, lasers, bow thrusters and God knows what else. I never feel satisfied until I have used up all the pins on the arduino.

Very sorry to hear of your problems. I hope the arduous aduino was not the cause. Hope to see you back at the SPMBC again soon.
PS Let;s know when you are back on your feet. I can arrange a ride in an Austin Healey for you, as I own a BJ7 that I built not quite from scratch.
    cheers,
